The last few days Sigmund Groven has been touring Hungary with a programme of classical music, performing with Miskolcs Symphony Orchestra and Szeged Symphony Orchestra. From the stage you could hear works both by Sigmund himself and other composers. The programme opened with Espana by Emmanuel Chabrier, then Sigmund is the soloist on Nordic night (Groven), Solstice (Henning Sommerro) and Toledo (James Moody), followed by Gavotte by J.S. Bach (arranged by Tommy Reilly). After the intermission the orchestra performed Four Norwegian dances by Grieg and Capriccio Espagnole by Rimsky-Korsakov.
